PRODUCTION MANAGER (1)

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Biomedical) or a related field.
• A master’s degree in operations management, Engineering Management, or a related discipline is preferred.

Professional Experience:

1. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in manufacturing, with 3–5 years in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
2. Proven experience with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, cGMP, and other applicable quality system standards.
3. Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Additional Requirements:

• Working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) standards in manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing audits and inspections by regulatory bodies (e.g., FDA, ISO auditors).
• Commitment to ethical practices and continuous professional development.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Manage manufacturing operations to provide world-class quality, delivery and service to customers.
2. Direct and control all operations staff to ensure they are properly motivated, trained and developed, and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
3. Organize all production operations to ensure that output productivity and quality targets are achieved and that all relevant health, safety and hygiene standards are observed.
4. Develop all necessary policies and procedures to ensure that plant and equipment is effectively maintained to ensure maximum production efficiency.
5. Develop and implement short- and long-term plans to ensure that the plant has the necessary resources to meet targets/objectives.
6. Develop effective working relationships with all employees to ensure the maintenance of harmonious employee relations within the factory.
7. Monitor and control the factory profit plan to ensure that all financial and business objectives are met.
8. Development and implementation of the crisis management plans.
9. To ensure that the incident rate in the factory is maintained at zero all the time, in terms of damage to assets and injuries to personnel.
10. To ensure that all expenses are maintained as per budget provisions.
11. Responsible for team members’ performance improvement and career development.
12. To optimize inventory to obtain budgeted inventory turns.
