Buyer / Planner Supervisor (1)

Job Summary:

The Buyer / Planner Supervisor is responsible for overseeing demand planning, purchasing activities, supplier coordination, inventory management, and inbound logistics to ensure the continuous and efficient supply of materials and products. The role leads planning and procurement operations, monitors supplier performance, supports inventory optimization, and drives supply chain improvements.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, planning, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise demand planning, inventory replenishment, and supply forecasting.
• Review and approve purchasing plans and Purchase Orders.
• Monitor supplier commitments, delivery schedules, and supply risks.
• Coordinate inbound shipments with suppliers, brokers, logistics providers, and warehouse personnel.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of shipping and import documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels, order fulfillment performance, and operational KPIs.
• Lead supply chain review meetings and resolve supply, inventory, and logistics issues.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality requirements, and safety standards.
• Develop team capability through coaching, training, and workload management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance.
